Franz Collection Information
Established in 2001, the Franz Collection immediately became recognized for its unique artistic designs and unsurpassed quality. Their porcelain experts developed special technologies, which enabled the designers to create works of art with unparalleled innovation. Every Franz Porcelain Collection item is elaboratley made through hundreds of manufacturing procedures with the finest clay, their secret glaze ingredients, and under glaze decorative techniques.
Drawing their inspiration from nature, Franz Porcelain demands a resolute commitment to protect it. With this in mind Franz refuses to use animal bone powder during production. All pieces are approved with certificates of the FDA and 84/500/EEC making them food safe. Lead free glazes are used through out the entire line of Franz products. They work diligently to create ways of firing porcelain at lower temperatures in order to lessen the environmental impact of production. Excessive heat is thermally recycled to regulate room temperatures in office and factory interiors during winter season. Nothing is overlooked in protecting the planet.
The company has undertaken a large-scale tree-planting plan in the neighboring hills of Jingdezhen, including more than ten thousands pieces of taxaceae, loropetalum, olive and hundreds of red maples. All endeavors are intended not only to offset the CO2 emission from their local production, but also to create a green environment for now and the future. This also echoes with the corporate philosophy to "create their own value by creating others' first". The motto also influences the formulation of their company's various business strategies.
